The recommended bar warp spare space needed after the painted edge is for the 45mm bar is 65mm, for 38 mm bar is 58mm, for 22mm bar is 42mm. The 20 back fold canvas need is for grabbing with canvas pliers to minimise the canvas wrinkle and for stapling on the back to give a wrap depth look.

DIRECT FRAMING- Canvas painting stretching and framing it directly is the simplest to start. This should match the painting artwork colour scheme. THICK OR MEDIUM SIZE FRAME WITH GAP BORDER- This type of canvas paintings stretching and framing will not touch the stretched oil painting, it will have a gap border between the frame and painting.
